Bandpass Filters
Bandpass Filters (also called band-pass filters, BP filters) are optcial filters designed to transmit a portion of the spectrum while blocking the remaining light, isolating desired spectral ranges while blocking light outside the specified region. The width of the transmission waveband can range from less than an Ångström to several hundred nanometers. This selective transmission is critical in applications where precise control over the optical spectrum is essential for accurate analysis or communication. Bandpass filters find extensive usage in life science, industrial, medical, photography, or Research and Development (R&D) realms.

Each of our bandpass filters consists of multiple layers of dielectric coatings deposited on a glass substrate, creating an interference-based construction to achieve desired transmission characteristics and optimal performance, colored glass can be bonded with BK7 or Fused Silica substrates to further enhance the spectral selection effectiveness (the glass we sourced are identical to that of HOYA). Our bandpass filters offer exceptional blocking depth, with a maximum of OD6 for standard versions and we can do even better. Also, high-precision polishing, tight geometric control, robust substrate material, and water-resistant design ensure optical excellence and long life spans. Regarding the standard versions, there is a wide selective central wavelength range of 200-10500nm, and bandwidths of 3-340nm, while other custom central wavelengths and bandwidths are also available. Hundreds of mounted stock modules with various standardized dimensions for convenient installation are available, and hard coatings can be deposited. We also provide custom bandpass filters tailored upon request.
